We rely on parents being involved to help children develop a love for the game, to learn sportsmanship and teamwork fundamentals. As a volunteer coach, you will get opportunities to influence the next generation for years to come. Your number one priority as an AEO volunteer coach is to ensure children having fun is at the forefront of everything you do with them. You do not have to be Billy Donovan or Steve Spurrier to coach, you just have to have a passion to see children have fun and the ability to engage and develop each child.

We are the Gomez family and we are a Mom, Dad, and 3 boys. We have noticed a need in Southwest Florida for the community; especially for families of children with special needs.
We have been the parents on the sidelines with their stomachs in knots because our son is kicking the soccer ball towards the wrong goal. We have been the parents with the child having a meltdown because he didn’t get a turn with the ball. We have been the parents who overhear “other” parents mumble frustrations because our child cost them the game. None of these situations were fun for us or our kids. We say let’s change it!
